Mount Mary College Presents CREO – Fashion, Art & Design Show 46th Annual Fashion Show Features “Juxtapose” Theme

As part of CREO (an annual fashion, art and design exhibition), Mount Mary College will present its student designer fashion show, “Juxtapose,” on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Harley-Davidson Museum’s Garage in Milwaukee. Show times are: 1:30, 5:30, and 8:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $18 for the matinee, $25-$35 for the early evening show, and $35-$45 for the evening show with a reception following. Ticket prices for middle and high school student groups are $10. Fashion show tickets may be purchased at http://creo.bpt.me.

Over 120 student-designed garments will be featured in the live runway production that reflects the juxtaposition of fashion trends including color blocking and pattern mixing, high and low hems, and edgy accessorizing such as combat boots coupled with evening wear. Both collections and individual garments will be featured and will be accompanied by commentary about the designer’s inspiration.

Prior to the fashion show, an independent jury of fashion design professionals reviewed the garments and provided recommendations on finishing and accessorizing. They also selected award recipients which will be announced at the show.  This year’s jury members included:
